Campaign Breakdown
Food – $7,000
Athletes need fuel to perform well and feeding over 25 boys over the course of several months is a significant investment. These meals primarily include pregame meals before many of our games. This also includes food costs at weekly team gatherings throughout the school year where the boys come together for leadership and life lessons taught by our coaching staff and other guest speakers.
$3,000 – Sports Drinks / Protein Shakes
Burning thousands of calories at practice can take it out of any athlete. These beverages aid in replenishing needed energy supplies to help keep them fueled over a long season.
$1,400 – Warm Up Pants
Pregame attire not only serves to help keep players warm in a cold gym on a winter’s night but also provides a polished look to help our boys feel good so they can play well.
$1,000 – Shirts
Gear is always fun to have. Providing a few key pieces of gear boys can wear even beyond the court gives them a way of demonstrating their team pride to others.
$7600 – Dr. Dish CT+
Our current shooting machine has seen it’s better days and only allows for shots on a single basket. By adding this new shooting machine it allows players to get up thousands more extra shots both in team sessions and in the extra hours individual team members come in on nights/weekends to work on developing their game. The extra repetitions truly can be a game changer.
$6,000 – All A State Tournament Trip
Our team won the All A 11th Region title this year! Getting to represent LCA at the state tournament is a great honor but one that comes with some various additional expenses for the team- lodging, travel, food, etc.
*Any dollars raised beyond goal will be used to cover team expenses in the months ahead such as LCA summer ball and team expenses for the coming year.
