We’ve all heard the bad stories about supporting a sports team. Someone makes a gift to the team but then expects their favorite player to receive favorable treatment.
If you choose to generously give- thank you! But we want to be clear that choosing to help out is solely for the good of the program and the young men who are a part of the team. Coaches are not leading these efforts. The coaches have been consulted to help provide clarity for the needs. Coaches and LCA Athletics staff will be in charge of seeing that these funds are put to their appropriate use for the team.
Since coaches have asked not to be made aware of who does (or doesn’t) participate there should be no expectation that any gift will directly impact a player in either a positive or negative manner. This is extremely important for everyone to know and so we wanted to make that clear. Our hope is that through our team’s efforts and with your help our boys will soar in great ways this year and beyond!
